Keith Jones specializes in coordinating and closing all manner of real estate finance transactions, representing property owners, lenders, master servicers and special servicers in connection with CMBS loans and multifamily housing loans (including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans).
He regularly advises clients on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, and leasing, among other matters.
His recent experience includes the origination and servicing of commercial property loans made by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. He has closed nearly $4 billion of CMBS, Freddie Mac and Fannie loan originations and $3 billion of servicing transactions for CMBS lenders, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. His loan servicing work includes coordinating loan assumptions, partial collateral releases and substitutions, Borrower consent requests, defeasances, non-consolidation opinions, and other servicing matters. Keith also has extensive experience in REMIC tax law, including providing REMIC tax advice to loan servicers.
Keith received his J.D. and M.B.A degrees from Wake Forest University in 1997, and his B.A. from Queens University of Charlotte in 1993.
