Michael is a strategic business litigator and a legal advisor in our Charlotte office. He has experience managing complex, multi-party litigation that allows him to serve a wide variety of clients from regional companies to small businesses and individuals. His practice focuses on business litigation where he provides a range of legal services, from advising clients of litigation risks and resolving disputes pre-litigation to litigating a case through to its ultimate resolution. Before joining Hull & Chandler, Michael was an attorney with an Am Law 200 firm in Charlotte where he represented large financial institutions while a member of the firm's financial services litigation practice group.
Michael received his J.D. from Campbell Law School, where he was business editor of the Campbell Law Review. While attending law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert C. Hunter of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He also earned a B.A. in politial science from Wake Forest University, where he was Poteat Scholar and student government legislator.
Michael lives outside of Charlotte with his beautiful wife and two children. He is an Eagle Scout and the president of his HOA. Michael and his family enjoy traveling in their free time.
